Aprender y Crecer was created in 2006 by Price Charities, a non-profit organization of the founders of PriceSmart membership shopping clubs, Sol and Robert Price.  The program has become its principal corporate social responsibility program in Central America and the Dominican Republic. The Price family firmly believes that supporting education and investing in our youth are fundamental for economic and social development.
